  • Open Garden Success...

    Despite the very wet summer we were pleased to raise £285.OO for the British Red Cross at our Open Day at Glan-yr-afon, Capel lsaac on Sunday 8th July 2O12 and our grateful thanks to all those who supported the event by attending or giving private donations.

    A special thank you too to all our stallholders, Janet Terly (Wool spinning), John Burgess (Pencae Mawr Farm Foods), Ailsa Proctor (ln Stitches), Mary Wainwright (Reiki healing), Elaine Sivyer (Bryn's Bones dog biscuits) Tanya's Plants, and not forgetting Llandeilo Girl Guides and their Leaders for serving teas, the Cooperative Supermarket for donating cakes and Huw and Tanya Pritchard for providing the car park.

    We are also indebted to the companies who generously donated raffle prizes, The Cawdor Hotel, The National Botanic Garden of Wales, Fforest Mill Garden Centre (Swansea), Bentley & Co Jewellers, The Plough lnn, Discount Animal & Pet Supplies, Carmarthen Farmers, and Tanya's Plants.

NEWS...

Our village hall...

The village hall was re-built in 2005. It now provides a great community resource which is used by any number of groups each week.

The hall is suitable for a range of activities - from meetings and events to family functions and parties. The hall is available for hire, with hourly and daily rates. For more information or to make a booking, please contact:
